Transfer Factors - What are they?

Transfer factors contain nothing foreign, nothing toxic, or nothing counter-productive they are not vitamins, minerals, herbs, hormones or drugs.

Dr Richard Bennet, Ph.D., expert in infectious disease, said, "it’s in our ability to create a really healthy immune system, which I think represents the greatest potential in gains in human health in the world. If we can do something to make us all just a little bit more healthy, there’s going to be less disease and less suffering."

With such busy lives, our health often comes second. When we use alternative treatments, their use will be greatly reduced if we do not keep our immune system topped up in between illness. Healthy or not, life depends on a healthy immune system.

In human transfer factors are contained in the first milk (colostrum) given to offspring straight after birth. Colostrum is
full with a plethora of immune components that pass to the newborn infant. Now the infant has the advantage of having far greater defence against infection. These transfer factors actually train the infants immune cells, helping them build a stronger, more wise defence.

With this amazing feat the infants immune system now has the benefit of the mothers colostrum that has already fought and won against thousand of infections.

Through this colostrum infants inherit the mothers immune intelligence, these factors are possibly the most valuable part of the colostrum.
